Insanity Incarnate!

Today started off as a fairly normal wednesday - I aimed to do the grocery shopping, come home, do some study and have a fairly normal afternoon - somewhere between here and the grocery store all that changed! Instead of having a normal day I decided for some ABSOLUTELY INSANE reason that my entire life needs a makeover! So after lunch I made a very long list of things that needed to be done around the house...everything from gardening to finances to own personal changes, and then set about getting as many done as possible. In four and a half hours, i have moved almost all the furniture we’re getting rid of out of the house, have rearranged the loungeroom and the office, vacumed floors, cleaned out the laundry and downstairs area, cleaned out the bedroom......u get the idea! it’s been trying, but the results are worth it! I suppose in a way this is my way of downsizing ourselves before we move house at the end of the year - and also a way of revamping our lives a little. Im a little neurotic like that, when I am dissatisfied with my life, or feeling like its not going anywhere I change my surroundings....for some reason it makes me feel better! Perhaps its a control thing - I feel more in control of my surroundings and therefore more in control of my life in general - or perhaps its just that when I change the way my surroundings look it makes me feel fresher, and more invigorated - or perhaps I am addicted to the high I get when I change it up! I have NO idea! whatever it is, it works! Meanwhile my desk is now a HUGE mess cos it was the dumping ground for all the stuff I need to sort through, so adios all!
