Well, I just got home from the Warwick Rodeo street festival.....it was your typical street carnival...lots of screaming kids, bright annoying flashie trashie over priced toys, showbags and rubbish food that any other time of year you wouldnt feed to your DOG let alone eat yourself! Mind you, OUR stall was not like that...we sold some of the best burgers I ever ate, and at rock bottom prices too! It was pretty fun, busy at times and slow at others :D I now smell perpetually like smoke cos I was RIGHT next to the bbq, but it was all in a good cause, despite my aching feet. I am contemplating a hot shower, jammies and some icecream at this point...a combination I am pretty certain will prove to be conducive to some serious relaxation! A glass of wine wouldnt hurt either...im so zonked!
Tomorrow I have to work, and I REALLY dont want to...sure it wont be as bad as I anticipate Im sure. It will be Therese's last day, so the focus wont really be on me anyways. I am waiting with baited breath to hear from big w, PRAYING they call me soon so I can leave rockmans in my wake...but I wont leave until I know for sure I have somewhere else to go. Its not really necessary, but I come from the kind of stock that doesnt leave a job without having another in the wings...its just not smart. After all, you never know what's around the corner right? Despite all this, I really do need this big w job..it would be great to get a stack of hours and really make some serious money towards the computer....the sooner we get the computer, the sooner we can pump all our money into a honeymoon, and then a house :D ha ha I know priorities right? LOL Its been four years...definately time for a honeymoon!!!!! Frankly I dont care where...just a couple of weeks, left to our own devices doing something fun..thats all I want. I am praying that we can work out a way to afford it and be able to save for a house afterwards. Im kind of excited about the prospect of getting our finances in order and start paving the way for our future :D Thats kinda what we're doing with this furniture thing....building a home we can be proud of so that our future is a bit more secure...*sigh* security is such a huge thing for me, and something that I struggle to let God handle.
Yup...definately time for a shower, jammies, icecream and wine...happy friday night to me!!!! :S
