Quick update!

I know, I havent written in AGES. I've been slack, but at the same time I've been learning a lot through other avenues about what God wants from me. Last night I had bible college, and later on today I will post up what God has been speaking into my life through the college. It's been so great to learn more about leadership, and what I need to do in order to prepare myself for leadership in the future.

Things here have been good...I feel like we have just lifted up a new chapter,....the weather is getting warmer, so the clothes we wear are changin, and I feel like my life is changing too. I've been inspired to change up my exercise program, and I've started walking on the days that I dont go to the gym, and also I am changing what and when I eat, to try and kick start things again. I feel like Im starting to break some strongholds and it's really exciting! 

We're preparing for our new furniture which hasnt arrived yet but is definately on the way....I can still hardly believe that in less than a month I will have all the pieces here, including a whole new bedroom suite! We've already bought a queen sized doona for the bed, and we're looking out for the right quilt cover set and summer sheets :D We're negotiating what old pieces of furniture to get rid of...brad wants to keep the old bed, but I think space wise we need to get rid of it and keep the sofa bed instead, that way we have a double bed if need be and we can use it as a sofa the rest of the time and it doesnt take up too much room. After all, we dont know whether we will be in this house much longer, because the owners have had an appraisal done on the house. It would be sad to have to leave this place, we love it so much, so we'll have to see. I've taken a break from the worship team after a little bit of turmoil, and Im working on an ethics debate and a take home exam that are both due soon. I havent worked much lately, but thats ok, I am enjoying getting on top of things at home because for a while there the house was OUTTA control LOL

My friend Kelli is coming this weekend and we're SO excited! It's so rare for us to have anyone come and visit since Warwick is out of the way for most people. Even with my family, the only members who have visited my house is my mum and my sister......NOONE else has come to visit since I reunited with them, and I am kinda hurt about that. I would have thought that since they hadnt seen me in 10 years they would have made a LITTLE effort to get to know us again and see where we live and what our life is like....but it seems noone could be bothered. I told mum that I was hurt over it, and mum understands, so theres not much else that can be done I suppose. So thats why actually having someone come the distance to visit and make the effort means SO much to us....we're very touched!!!

Well, like I said, later on this afternoon or this evening I will be working through my bible college homework, which I will definately share :D I think Im going to get a lot out of my studies, and really perhaps develop a new perspective on leadership and where I am headed in terms of my involvement not just in the church but in my work. Until then..... :D
