An Awesome Weekend!!!

I just had the most AWESOME weekend ever!!!! My bud Kelli came out to visit, and we had SO much fun! Saturday morning we got up early and went walking, and then after we sat and talked over coffee for AGES and then we went to help out with the youth bbq. That afternoon we watched a movie and cooked a dinner party for Amanda and Brian which went off REALLY well.

But the best part of the weekend by far was yesterday. In the morning we went to my church and Jimmy Nijino preached...or should I say shook the heavens! It was mostly healings and people fallin over and stuff.....a bit freaky but fabulous and very very very powerful! EVERYONE was touched in some way! Kelli was able to get some answers from God that she really needed, so Im praising God for that! then we went home for a quick lunch and then I took two of the youth group girls to brisbane to Kelli's church to see Danny Guggilemucci preach, which was SOOOOOO good! He spoke a lot about being an Elijah generation, which has inspired me to delve more into the life of Elijah and maybe get a devotional on Elijah to help me better understand his message. The whole weekend was awesome, and I know that the girls really got a lot out of going to Metro, and seeing a huge group of young people worshipping God. It really opened their eyes I think to the fact that they're not alone, and that others their age go through the same things they do.

I am so glad Kelli came out....shes such an awesome woman of God, and so inspiring. It's almost depressing being around someone who is SOOO on fire for God, because it always brings into focus those areas of your own life that are lacking! but SO much fun.....did I mention it was fun??? LOL

Today I am endeavouring to get lots done, which isnt happening...the insurance cheque came today whoo hooooooo so we're really happy we can pay for the furniture on thursday :D Gina's birthday is wednesday, so Im going up to Toowoomba to stay the night at mums and having birthday dinner with Gina, and then thursday according to Heritage bank we should be able to use the money from the cheque to pay for the furniture OUTRIGHT. I hope by then that the first piece or two of furniture will be in so I can pick them up while Im there too. I plan on giving a call tomorrow to find out whether my small bookcase is in :D 

Well thats all the news from me. I am battling what I think is a migraine headache, so I better go take something for it before it gets too bad. My love to all! MWAH!
